Belly Pics

We have been TRYING to take a picture each week, but some weeks have escaped us.  Here is a series of belly pics, so far.  Last Saturday, we were 20 weeks pregnant.

Keep in mind, we found out we were pregnant at 7 weeks.  So, we started the belly pictures at 8 weeks.  Here's the first one:

8 weeks pregnant:

9 weeks:

10 weeks: (Who am I kidding, this is more like week 7-14... Carl snuck this picture while I slept away the nausea.)

11 weeks: We missed a couple of weeks because we were in Florida, but here's one at 11 weeks.  It's not much of a belly picture, but since I'm not really showing much anyway, it's okay.  This is my friend Rachel, holding Sugar, and I'm holding Belle.

13 weeks: (I all of the sudden started poking out!)

This was the week I felt the baby move for the first time.  Had my mom not told me how it felt when I moved inside of her, I wouldn't have understood what I was trying to feel.  She explained to me that when I moved inside of her, it felt like a muscle spasm or a twitch.  Everyone else had told me butterflies, but this definitely felt like a muscle twitch.  I felt him move again a handful of times over the next couple of weeks, but by about week 15 he has decided to continue to move as much as possible.

17 weeks:

20.5 weeks: (another growth spurt!)

At 20 weeks, I felt him moving a TON one afternoon so I lifted up my shirt.  I saw a little movement in there!  I'm pretty certain a knee rubbed across my belly, and it was the most precious thing ever.  We are officially halfway there, and we will meet our little guy in about 20 weeks! 

And that brings us to today!  Tomorrow we will take our 21 week photo, and I will try to update more often!
